Medical costs, alone, for a person with Down syndrome is approximately $85,000 more than the average person over a lifetime. With employment challenges this cost increases.
We need your help, so that we can help to improve the quality of life for people with Down syndrome. Please give.
A Letter From Dillon Dechard's Family
Dear Andrea and Mark's Money,
I would like to take this opportunity to express how thankful our family is for your help to reach our goal of purchasing a wheelchair accessible van. Your donation allowed our family to purchase a 2010 Dodge Caravan and have it converted to transport my little brother Dillon and his wheelchair. Dillon has had a rough few years and lately I have not seen the usual happy smiling Dillon. But once he set eyes on his new van his face lit up and he had a bigger smile then I had ever seen him have. Dillon now tells everyone he meets, about how much he loves his van. He wants to go all over town and show everyone he knows. I can barely get him out of it.
In addition, the ease of getting him out of the van to go into stores and other places in life- changing. Having the van will better not only Dillon?s life but our whole family now have all our own space and we all fit perfectly. No words can explain how grateful I am for your help.
Thank you so much for your donation!
